SEPTEMBER IS PREVENTATIVE WELLNESS TESTING MONTH AT FOUR PAWS!!

We have special pricing on all Wellness Diagnostic Profiles for the month of September.  It has been proven that it is far more expensive and less successful to treat disease than it is to prevent it.  Call for an appointment to bring your pet in for Wellness Screening to keep them healthy for years to come!

Canine Senior Wellness Profile (recommended for all dogs 7 years and older)  was $150.00 now $105.00

Feline Senior Wellness Indoor Profile (recommended for all cats 7 years and older, only indoors and previously tested for feline leukemia and FIV)  was $150.00 now $115.00

Feline Senior Wellness Outdoor Profile (recommended for all cats 7 years and older, outdoor, indoor/outdoor or indoor and not previously tested for feline leukemia and/or FIV) was $175.00 now $125.00.

All Senior Profiles include:

• Superchem serum chemistry (screens for liver and kidney disease, inflammation, protein losing diseases, diabetes, endocrine diseases, and other abnormalities)
• CBC (test for levels of red and white blood cells and can indicate anemia, infection and in some cases cancer)
• Urinalysis (test for infection, urinary stones and signs of other diseases), total thyroid hormone level (indicates hypo (low) or hyper (high) thyroidism, both very treatable conditions), and
•  Heartworm testing.

Feline Senior Wellness Outdoor Profile also contains a Feline leukemia and FIV test.

For dogs and cats over 10 years of age we recommend higher levels of screening that include chest radiographs, EKG, glaucoma screening and blood pressure screening.  These screens require a drop off appointment. 

During April's Heartworm Awareness promotion we offered heartworm testing for $25.00 per test.  We have made this promotion permanent to allow more of our valued clients to test their pets for heartworms.  Ask any of our knowledgable staff if you have questions concerning heartworms and your pet.  Heartworm disease is deadly, hard to treat but very easy to prevent.
